Suggested Storage & Transport

To protect against hull warping, store and transport your kayak flat and upside down on the gunwales. Make sure your storage racks and cam straps are placed approximately 1/3 of the way in from the bow and stern of the kayak. Ensure that cam straps are not tightly wound around the hull, as this may cause deformation.

Kayaks stored and transported hull-side-down may warp due to increased tension, improper straps (ratchet straps), pressure on the hull, changes in elevation, and temperature.
