February 8, 2023
cover-new

This weekend, Raccoon Creek Outfitters and Loveland Canoe & Kayak will have the Crescent Line on display. Our friend Robert Wieker is hosting a kayak rigging competition with some killer prizes and Drew Gregory is hosting four kayak fishing seminars over the weekend.

When: Feb 10-12
Where: Bricker Building, Ohio Expo Center
For tickets and information check out the National Fishing Expos – Columbus.

The expo is over 150,000 square feet of everything fishing and kayaking. There are free seminars all event long, a kayak demo pool, a kid’s zone, food, and more.

Check Out The Crescent Line

Raccoon Creek Outfitters (Booth A-160) and Loveland Canoe and Kayak (Booth 925) will be there all weekend—located right next to the Kayak Seminar Pool. Dustin Hoy, Mark Bersani, and their teams are a complete encyclopedia on paddlesports, waterways, and kayak fishing in Ohio. This is a great way to get an in-person look at the entire Crescent Line and learn about each model from knowledgeable paddlesport professionals.

Fishing Seminars with Drew Gregory

Friday and Saturday, Drew is hosting two seminars each day covering Shallow Water Tournament Strategies and River Bassin 101. If you want to learn more about the Shoalie, Drew will be hanging around the Raccoon Creek and Loveland Booths throughout the weekend.

Kayak Rigging Competition

Robert Weiker, aka The Fixer, is hosting a Kayak Rigging Competition at the Raccoon Creek Outfitters booth from 8 am to 5 pm Saturday. Robert is a master of kayak rigging and has a reputation in the kayak fishing tournament scene as a traveling toolbox–helping anglers rig and fix their kayaks along the way.

Voting is open to the public all day for three categories: Best In Show, Rigged To The Gills, and Keep It Simple.

Prizes include gear from Pro Tackle Crafters, Bear field custom baits, Yak Gadget, Raccoon Creek Outfitters, and Venom Lures.

We hope you enjoy the show! If you take any photos, tag us on Instagram. We’d love to see them and share them.
